Welcome! My name is Diane Nothnagel and I have been teaching inside and outside of the classroom for the past 30 years.  I love working with children and I truly enjoy molding these young minds into life long learners. When not at school I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my grandchildren.

CLASS HOMEWORK: The homework folder goes home daily.  Folders
and spelling homework need to be returned to school each day.

Monday-write spelling words 3x's each
Tuesday-write 10 spelling sentences
Wednesday-put words in ABC order
Thursday-study for test
Friday-spelling test

"Once upon a time"
 January 4th and 5th, the first and second grades will be doing a Fairy Tales unit.  It will take place during the Language Arts block.
It's COLD! BRRRRrrrrrr.....
This is just a reminder that the students need to wear warm coats, gloves, and hats to school on cold days. Our school is collecting gently used hats and mittens for children who need them.  If you are interested for more information please contact me or the school.
